You'll work with regional teams to shape priorities, planning, and investment decisions, translating complex trends into actionable recommendations. You'll manage market outlooks, forecasts, and business cases, presenting findings to leadership. Responsibilities- Analyze market, customer, competitor, regulatory, sustainability, and macro trends impacting Novelis and served markets
- Monitor developments across automotive, beverage packaging, and specialty markets and assess demand drivers and competitive dynamics
- Develop market outlooks, demand forecasts, scenario models, dashboards, and performance reports to support decisions
- Evaluate customer, product, portfolio, pricing, profitability, segmentation, and growth opportunities using quantitative and qualitative analysis
- Support strategic planning with data collection, market assessments, forecasting, and recommendations
- Prepare business cases and market assessments outlining opportunities, risks, and trade-offs
- Partner with regional and functional teams to validate assumptions and align insights with supply-demand outlooks
- Track commercial initiatives, project deliverables, risks, and key progress metrics
- Develop executive-ready presentations, reports, dashboards, and briefing materials and present to leadership and cross-functional teams
- Collaborate with Commercial, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Sustainability, R&D, Product Management, Corporate Strategy, and regional teams
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, engineering, statistics, data analytics, or related field
- 4-7 years of experience in strategy, analytics, consulting, finance, market intelligence, or related analytical field
- Experience structuring complex business questions and developing fact-based recommendations
- Ability to connect market trends, customer needs, competitive dynamics, and internal capabilities to generate actionable insights
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong written, verbal, presentation, organizational, and project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across functions and regions in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to learn new industries and apply knowledge to practical recommendations
