Overview As a Senior Accountant in Corporate Accounting, you will own core ledger close activities and drive accurate, timely reporting at Notion's scale. Responsibilities- Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close for assigned areas with timely journal entries and documentation
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and escalate issues with a clear close rhythm
- Analyze financial results and explain variance drivers to stakeholders and FP&A
- Utilize AI-enabled tools to streamline analyses, reconciliations, and recurring workflows
- Strengthen controls and accounting processes across assigned areas by year end
- Drive scalable improvements in Corporate Accounting through cross-functional collaboration with FP&A, AP, Legal, and other teams
Key requirements- 5+ years of accounting experience with hands-on ownership of month-end close
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and accrual accounting
- Proficiency with NetSuite
- Ability to build cross-functional partnerships and communicate complex financial drivers
