We're looking for a Tax Manager who takes pride in high quality work, meaningful client relationships, and being part of a genuinely supportive team. Youll play an influential role in preparing and reviewing tax returns and guiding the team through important tax matters, especially within the entertainment and high net worth space.
What youll do
Prepare and review federal and multi state income tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships (trusts and estates a plus)
Gather, review, and organize client tax documents, workpapers, and supporting schedules
Partner closely with high net worth individuals and family offices across businesses, investments, and estate entities
Review tax accounting adjustments, related financial statements, and support tax research to address client issues proactively
Identify and recommend practical tax strategies; assist with IRS/state correspondence and notice responses
Mentor a team of associates and support the broader team with tax needs as required
Requirements:
Proficiency in tax softwares CCH Axcess and general computer skills
Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax preparation and review.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with professional phone etiquette
Demonstrated organizational skills for managing multiple accounts and follow-up tasks efficiently
