Overview In this role you will build courtroom experience within a regional creditors' rights practice. You will handle a range of matters from intake to resolution, balancing independent case work with close collaboration to advance clients' interests. The position blends in-person court appearances with some virtual proceedings and tight coordination with staff. You contribute to strategic litigation management and client-facing support, driving matters toward favorable outcomes.
Responsibilities- Appear in court in person and virtually for conferences, motions, and scheduled proceedings
- Manage a diverse caseload from inception through resolution
- Develop and execute litigation strategies, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, settlement agreements, and related drafting
- Collaborate with senior management and clients to move matters toward favorable outcomes
- Coordinate with paralegals and support staff to prepare and respond to filings, discovery requests, and other demands
Key requirements- Barred in New York (licensed attorney)
