Overview

As Project Contracts Manager, you will own contractual and commercial activities across Data Center projects, acting as the primary liaison between the project team, client, and subcontractors. You'll oversee contract compliance, change management, and risk mitigation throughout the full lifecycle, including GMP delivery models. This role is site-based with cross-functional coordination and occasional travel, offering relocation support. You will help ensure timely, compliant project delivery that aligns with company procedures and governance.

Responsibilities
  • Own prime and subcontracts, managing notices, changes, and logs to ensure alignment with contract terms
  • Advise project leadership daily on rights, obligations, and risk arising from project activities
  • Lead contract administration and change order processes across GMP and related models
  • Coordinate with project controls to align cost, schedule, and contractual submissions
  • Review and negotiate subcontract terms and variations to ensure consistency with prime contracts
  • Mentor Contract Administrators and support day-to-day administration of client and subcontract agreements
  • Ensure compliance with contract securities, warranties, insurances, and open-book processes
  • Support contract close-out activities including final accounting and settlement of claims
Key requirements
  • 8 to 10 years of experience managing large-scale construction or industrial projects with commercial risk management
  • Experience managing client and subcontractor contracts in active project environments
  • Strong understanding of contract law and ability to translate terms into project guidance
  • Proven track record drafting and managing claims, variations, and notices under tight deadlines
  • Experience with GMP, progressive GMP, or cost-reimbursable/open-book models and client audit support
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional certification in Contract or Commercial Management preferred (MRICS, CICES, or IACCM)
  • Ability to work legally in the US and relocate domestically as needed
