Overview In this role you lead the execution of a large-scale generation project with budget visibility exceeding $1B, owning safety, schedule, cost, and stakeholder alignment. You will direct cross-functional teams, coordinate with EPCs or third-party resources, and ensure on-site leadership throughout project phases. You'll build relationships with utilities, regulators, and contractors to deliver on time, within budget, and in compliance. This role offers impact through influencing project strategy and regulatory success, within a mission-driven energy organization.

Responsibilities- Oversee full project execution and management functions for the assigned project
- Implement and monitor a zero-harm safety program and address issues to reduce incidents
- Report on project strategy, needs, and metrics to Generation Executive leadership
- Establish and negotiate project contracting strategies for contractor, EPC, and engineering agreements
- Drive integrated schedules across workstreams and align with resource management
- Maintain program budget and contingency; manage expenditures to targets
- Identify and mitigate project risks; maintain executive risk register
- Lead change management, resolve disputes, and mentor project leadership team
- Manage stakeholder relationships with utilities, regulators, landowners, and contractors
- Ensure regulatory filings readiness and successful hearings leading to approvals
- Oversee staffing, staff augmentation, and vendor management
- Direct construction to deliver safely, on schedule, within investment limits
- Communicate technical solutions and drive team to effective outcomes
- Prepare and present project updates to senior management
- Support environmental and regulatory permit coordination when applicable
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 10 years of experience across major construction, project management, or related areas
- PMP certification
- Valid state driver's license
- Experience with EPC contracts, regulatory filings, and project financing support
