Overview

In this Recruiting Coordinator role at MatX, you will own interview scheduling, coordination across teams, and candidate communication to deliver a smooth hiring journey. You will work with recruiters, sourcers, hiring managers, and interviewers to ensure timely, professional experiences across time zones. You help keep the interview process moving, manage last minute changes, and support talent initiatives as the company grows. This role offers the chance to impact recruiting processes in a fast-moving startup and partner with cross functional teams. You will drive a high quality candidate experience and contribute to scalable hiring practices.

Responsibilities
  • Own interview scheduling and coordination across candidates, recruiters, hiring managers, and interview teams
  • Coordinate virtual and onsite interview loops across multiple teams, interviewers, and time zones
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for candidates throughout the interview process
  • Ensure a world class, professional, and highly responsive journey for every candidate
  • Manage last minute scheduling changes, interviewer conflicts, cancellations, and reschedules
  • Track outstanding interview feedback and follow up with interview teams
  • Support recruiting events, projects, and other talent initiatives as needed
Key requirements
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in recruiting coordination or similar roles, ideally in a startup
  • Strong focus on candidate experience and professional communication
  • Excellent time management with ability to coordinate multiple processes
  • Comfort with uncertainty and changing priorities
  • High organization and attention to detail
  • Proactive, takes ownership, and communicates effectively
  • Experience with Ashby or similar ATS
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
