Overview

In this role you help shape the prioritization of enterprise strategic initiatives through data analysis and clear recommendations. You'll produce concise insights for leadership and support cross-functional teams with strategic guidance. The position sits inside the Corporate Strategy & Strategic Initiatives group, influencing investment decisions and portfolio planning. You will work closely with senior leaders to translate data into actionable guidance that drives Truist's strategy and execution.

Responsibilities
  • Provide analytic support for informin g strategic initiatives (data analysis, benchmarking, industry trends)
  • Create executive-ready documents and presentations outlining recommendations and tradeoffs with rationale
  • Identify data sources, gather and interpret data, perform analyses, and present findings to Strategy leaders and partners
  • Engage with Head of Corporate Strategy & Strategic Initiatives and occasionally provide readouts directly
  • Contribute to monitoring strategic investments, reconcile funding vs. plans, and assist with portfolio planning discussions
  • Remain fluent with latest reporting and data analysis software and skills
Key requirements
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or similar analytical discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in Financial Services or a regulated environment
  • Experience in financial services product/client experience, consulting, or corporate strategy
  • Proven ability to perform competitive, market, and internal analyses and synthesize insights from multiple data points
  • Experience with Tableau, PowerPoint (PPT), Excel and other presentation/data automation tools
  • Independent work style
  • Strong written and verbal communication with executive leaders
  • Ability to synthesize data and present clear, justified conclusions
