Overview In this PMO-focused role, you will support project governance by tracking status, maintaining plans, and preparing executive-ready updates. You work closely with cross-functional teams to capture timely data and ensure consistency across trackers and dashboards. You will help onboard new projects and assist senior leaders with concise reports that reveal health, milestones, and deliverables. This role offers practical exposure to PMO processes in a hybrid Charlotte setting and opportunities to influence project outcomes.
Responsibilities- Track and monitor ongoing projects, ensure timely updates in trackers and reporting tools
- Prepare and maintain project plans, timelines, status reports, and executive presentations using MS Office
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, capture minutes, and follow up on actions
- Maintain data integrity across project documentation and dashboards
- Liaise with HR, Talent Acquisition, and Learning & Development to gather updates and flag risks
- Support onboarding of new projects into the PMO framework and ensure intake standards
- Prepare reports/decks for senior leadership summarizing health, milestones, and deliverables
- Participate in ad hoc PMO initiatives
Key requirements- 0-1 year of corporate experience
- Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Familiarity with project tracking tools or ATS; experience with Smartsheet, Jira, or similar PM platforms preferred
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders at all levels
- High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and confidentiality
- Bachelor in Project Management or related field
