Overview In this role, you will lead tax engagements for individuals and pass-through entities, guiding compliance and planning. You'll mentor a small Greenville team and partner with firm leadership to support office growth and client service. You drive proactive tax guidance and ensure high-quality work for diverse clients. This position offers a long-term leadership path within an established public accounting firm.
Responsibilities- Review and prepare returns for individuals, S-Corporations, partnerships, and other business entities
- Review financial statements and supporting tax documentation
- Manage client relationships and serve as tax planning and compliance contact
- Mentor and review work of staff; provide technical guidance
- Oversee a team of 4-5 professionals in Greenville
- Assist with workflow management, deadlines, and quality control
- Collaborate with firm leadership on client service and Greenville office growth
- Participate in tax planning and provide year-round proactive guidance
Key requirements- CPA license required
- Strong public accounting tax experience
- Experience preparing and reviewing 1040s, S-Corps, and partnerships
- Experience reviewing staff work
- Strong client-facing and relationship management skills
- Experience with QuickBooks Online and/or Desktop preferred
- Prior management or supervisory experience preferred
