Overview In this role you guide tax compliance and planning for individuals, S-corps, partnerships, and other entities within an established Greenville office. You'll mentor a small team, oversee workflow, and partner with firm leadership to grow client service capabilities. You will serve as a primary contact for tax matters, delivering proactive tax guidance throughout the year. Responsibilities- Review and prepare individual, S-Corporation, partnership, and other business tax returns
- Review financial statements and supporting documentation for tax engagements
- Manage client relationships and serve as primary contact for tax planning and compliance matters
- Review staff work and provide technical guidance and mentorship
- Oversee and develop a team of 4-5 professionals in the Greenville office
- Assist with workflow management, deadlines, and quality control
- Collaborate with firm leadership on client service and growth of the Greenville office
- Participate in tax planning and provide proactive guidance throughout the year
Key requirements- CPA license required
- Strong public accounting tax experience
- Experience preparing and reviewing individual and business tax returns (1040s, S-Corps, partnerships)
- Experience reviewing the work of other tax professionals
- Strong client-facing and relationship management skills
- Experience with QuickBooks Online and/or QuickBooks Desktop preferred
- Prior management or supervisory experience strongly preferred
