Responsibilities- Handle complex real estate and commercial litigation matters for owners, developers, investors, and partnerships
- Manage motions, discovery, depositions, and court appearances
- Represent clients in breach of contract, construction-related, title/ownership, and JV disputes
- Oversee commercial landlord-tenant disputes, arbitrations, and mediations
- Provide trial and appellate-level litigation support and advocacy
Key requirements- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Admitted and in good standing in New York
- 4-6+ years of real estate litigation experience
- Strong experience with motions, discovery, depositions, and court appearances
- Excellent legal writing and advocacy skills
- Ability to manage cases and client relationships with increasing autonomy
- Commercial litigation experience is a plus
