Representative Work
Your clients are Fortune 500 companies, private equity firms, investment banks, and privately-held companies in their most high-profile and complex mergers and acquisitions.
You'll handle domestic and cross-border transactions, on both the buy and sell-side.

Who You Are
You are a high performer with 2 4 years of significant experience in mergers + acquisitions and other strategic transactions.
You have experience in handling domestic and cross-border transactions, on both the buy and sell-side.
You possess a solid understanding of complex structural and corporate issues pertaining to acquisitions, divestitures, strategic alliances, spin-offs, carve-outs, leveraged buyouts, recapitalization, and tender offers.
You have the ability to concisely and effectively communicate complex matters in oral and written form and have outstanding research and analytical skills.
You have excellent business and legal problem-solving skills and commitment to delivering excellent client service in a team environment.
You have a strong work ethic, excellent leadership skills, and action-oriented interest in taking on increased levels of responsibility.
You are admitted to the California state bar or are eligible to waive in.

Associate Bonus Structure
Associates can count unlimited pro-bono and inclusion hours, and up to 100 pre-approved hours for knowledge management and business development activities, toward their bonus eligibility.
Additional high-hour bonuses are available at 2,100, 2,300, and 2,500 hours, and merit incentives are awarded to associates whose performance exceeds expectations, enhancing transparency in annual evaluations.
In 2025, the high-hours awards added % to the base bonus amount, and merit incentives added 10% or 20% to both the base bonus and high-hours awards. With these awards and incentives, our most senior associates were eligible for bonuses of up to $218,200, inclusive of special bonuses.
