Senior Project Manager - Multifamily Groundup Construction

Overview

In this senior role you will lead ground-up multifamily projects from preconstruction to turnover, delivering on time and within budget. You will work with clients, consultants, and the project team to drive success and maintain strong relationships. You will tackle budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and quality and safety standards, shaping large-scale developments. This opportunity combines leadership with hands-on project delivery in a growth focused construction organization.

Responsibilities
  • Lead planning, execution, and delivery of ground-up multifamily projects
  • Manage budgets, schedules, contracts, procurement, and financial reporting
  • Oversee preconstruction activities including budgeting, value engineering, and strategy
  • Coordinate and lead teams of Project Managers, Project Engineers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and consultants
  • Ensure milestones, quality standards, and safety requirements are met
  • Manage client communication and maintain stakeholder relationships
  • Identify risks and implement proactive solutions to keep projects on track
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to project team members
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (preferred)
  • 10+ years of experience in commercial construction project management
  • 5+ years managing ground-up multifamily projects
  • Experience delivering projects valued at $30M+ from inception to completion
  • Strong knowledge of contracts, cost control, scheduling, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Experience with project management software, scheduling tools, and construction financial reporting
  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain strong client relationships
