1776 Construction Builders is seeking an experienced, dependable foreman to lead crews on commercial interior construction projects. Our primary work includes metal stud framing, drywall installation and finishing, acoustical ceilings, painting, insulation, and interior demolition.
Responsibilities
Lead and work alongside the crew on the jobsite.
Assign daily tasks and keep the crew productive and organized.
Read plans, understand the scope of work, and communicate project requirements.
Teach and mentor workers who are developing their skills.
Monitor workmanship and help ensure work meets quality and safety expectations.
Communicate progress, material needs, manpower needs, and jobsite concerns to management.
Coordinate respectfully with project managers, superintendents, and other trades.
Help maintain a safe, clean, and professional jobsite.
Language and Communication
Bilingual English and Spanish communication is strongly preferred. However, we will also consider an experienced foreman who speaks only English or Spanish if they are willing to work closely with a bilingual partner to communicate effectively with the entire crew.
Qualifications
Previous commercial construction and crew-leadership experience.
Experience with drywall and metal stud framing is strongly preferred.
Ability to lead by example and work alongside the crew when needed.
Willingness and patience to train less-experienced workers.
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Dependable transportation and consistent attendance.
Commitment to jobsite safety and quality workmanship.
Ability to work legally in the United States.
Position Details
