Overview In this role you support acquisition and contract execution for high-reliability government programs. You'll work with cross-functional teams to draft and review procurement documents, track actions, and ensure regulatory compliance. The position sits within SPA's Strategic Division, contributing to mission-critical DoD and Navy programs. You'll engage with government stakeholders and provide timely updates to leadership. Responsibilities- Assist with development and coordination of acquisition documentation (SOWs, IGCEs, J&As, D&Fs)
- Draft, review, and submit procurement packages and contract modifications
- Track contract actions and provide status updates to leadership
- Collaborate with technical leads, financial analysts, and program managers for cross-functional alignment
- Interface with contracting officers and government stakeholders to facilitate timely contract execution
- Contribute to program meetings and briefings with acquisition updates and recommendations
- Support compliance with DoD acquisition regulations (FAR, DFARS, Navy policies)
Key requirements- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent field
- Strong understanding of federal acquisition lifecycle and related documentation
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Government Finance and Acquisitions
- Experience with Navy or DoD acquisition systems (e.g., Navy ERP, ETMS2, PIEE, SPS/PD2)
