Overview In this role, you drive project-level sustainability performance within Beck's design-build teams. You will shape objectives with clients and stakeholders, track compliance with regulations and rating systems, and lead a team to deliver certified, energy-efficient, healthy buildings. You will stay ahead of trends, manage risks, and coordinate certifications to support Beck's sustainability goals. Responsibilities- Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and stakeholders to set project-specific sustainability goals
- Monitor regulations and rating systems (e.g., LEED, WELL) to keep projects at the forefront
- Lead knowledge sharing on emerging sustainability trends and best practices
- Identify risks in sustainability initiatives and develop contingency plans
- Lead project meetings to integrate sustainability into project documents
- Manage third-party certification processes and documentation
- Oversee resources, deliverables, budgets, and schedules for sustainability goals
- Supervise and train Sustainability Coordinators and Interns
- Provide training on sustainability goals and strategies to project teams
- Analyze annual greenhouse gas emissions data with consultants
- Track design projects against Beck's National Sustainability Objective for energy, water, materials
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in related field
- At least 3 years' experience as a sustainability project manager
- Proven experience managing third-party rating system certifications
- LEED AP accreditation required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Revit, SketchUp, Bluebeam Revu
