Overview In this role, you will lead a centralized marketing operations function to bring structure, prioritization, and visibility to marketing initiatives. You will partner with marketing leadership and cross-functional teams to translate plans into coordinated work streams, optimize workflows, and drive efficiency. You'll scale processes, manage vendor activity and budgets, and provide leadership with actionable performance metrics. Responsibilities- Lead the Marketing Operations team with clear workflows, service expectations, accountability, and handoffs across centralized and business-line teams
- Manage and develop direct reports, set priorities, balance workloads, coach performance, and support growth
- Own the centralized marketing intake and prioritization process, balancing business needs, urgency, impact, timing, and resources
- Translate annual priorities, campaigns, launches, and initiatives into coordinated work plans with Marketing leadership
- Develop scalable processes for intake, briefing, approvals, timelines, handoffs, launch readiness, and post-project learning
- Provide leadership with visibility into workload, capacity, deadlines, risks, budgets, vendor activity, and overall marketing performance
- Identify bottlenecks and lead improvements/automation to increase speed, quality, and capacity
- Oversee shared marketing workflow systems, calendars, dashboards, templates, documentation, and reporting
- Establish vendor management processes including scopes, approvals, utilization, invoices, payments, renewals, and performance
- Support annual marketing planning, budget tracking, resource planning, and vendor spend management
- Develop meaningful metrics around turnaround time, workload, backlog, vendor utilization, delivery quality, and alignment with business priorities
Key requirements- 7+ years of progressive experience in marketing operations, project management, or related fields
- Demonstrated leadership with ability to set priorities and drive accountability
- Strong project management, process improvement, organizational, and change-management skills
- Experience managing marketing workflows, budgets, vendors/agencies, and reporting
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate workload, service levels, budgets, and performance
- Experience with workflow, CRM, marketing automation, CMS, analytics or reporting platforms such as Asana, Smartsheet, Workfront, Trello, Jira or similar tools
- Experience in centralized/shared services marketing organization preferred
- PMP, Agile, Lean, or process-improvement experience a plus
- Experience in real estate, property management, retail, hospitality, or multi-location organizations a plus
