Sr. Military Operations Analyst

Overview

In this Military Operations Analyst role, you will deliver technical, data-driven support and strategy-informed analysis across defense topics. You will join a collaborative JOID team to inform decision makers through quantitative and qualitative assessments, wargaming, and workshops. You'll engage with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to address time-critical problems from the highest levels of government. This position offers leadership opportunities and a direct impact on sustaining military superiority. Your work supports DoD customers in DoW-related programs, with onsite duties in Alexandria, VA.

Responsibilities
  • Contribute to analyses, assessments, and workshops integrating technical, operational, and programmatic aspects across DoW
  • Perform quantitative and qualitative analyses and wargaming to inform high-level decision makers
  • Engage with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to manage multiple tasks under tight timelines
  • Learn and apply new knowledge quickly to align with client needs and project goals
  • Present analytic findings to senior leadership and obtain buy-in from top-level stakeholders
  • Support onsite client engagements and collaborative efforts with DoW and international partners
  • Assist in designing and executing defense-related analytic studies and briefings
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of related work experience
  • Experience developing and presenting military operations analytic findings to senior leadership
  • Self-motivated with strong work ethic, time-management, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite
  • Ability to work fully onsite based on client needs
  • Active TS/SCI clearance
