Overview In this Senior Consultant role, you will drive complex business valuation engagements and act as the technical engine of the project. You'll own client interactions, deliver defensible valuation analyses, and mentor junior staff while collaborating with partners. The position offers exposure to a range of industries and a path toward management. You'll work on high-impact models and reports that withstand scrutiny from auditors and tax authorities, shaping valuation opinions at scale.

Responsibilities- Lead and deliver valuation engagements for financial reporting, tax, and M&A purposes.
- Own end-to-end engagement execution from scoping to final deliverable, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.
- Build, populate, and review financial models (DCF, comparable analyses, option pricing, PWERM, Black-Scholes)
- Identify and analyze comparable companies/transactions to derive valuation multiples using S&P Capital IQ, Bloomberg, PitchBook, and BVR
- Draft clear, well-supported reports and memos documenting analysis and conclusions
- Coach and review analysts, providing coaching and quality control
- Research market conditions to develop valuation opinions
- Serve as day-to-day client contact, manage data requests and stakeholder communications
- Perform audit reviews of valuations and respond to review comments with documented support
- Contribute to practice by improving templates, delivering internal training, and supporting thought leadership and recruiting
Key requirements- Minimum 2 years of progressively responsible valuations experience
- Bachelor's degree in relevant fields
- Valuation designation(s) ASA, CFA, ABV, CVA, or progress toward one or more
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills (DCF, market approach, option pricing)
- Experience with market data sources: S&P Capital IQ, Bloomberg, PitchBook, BVR
- Strong report writing and ability to explain methodology clearly
- Proven ability to manage multiple engagements; deliver high-quality work on time
- Experience coaching/developing junior professionals
