Overview In this role you will lead downstream contract negotiations within the legal department, collaborating with project teams and multiple functions to align terms with policy and risk. You will manage disputes, draft notices, and ensure flow-downs are integrated into corporate templates. This position supports complex EPC-related contracts and acts as the primary liaison between project teams and attorneys. You will drive timely, compliant commercial outcomes that enable project execution.
Responsibilities- Negotiate subcontracts, purchase orders, engineering services, geotech services, NDAs, event contracts and other agreements
- Ensure contract language complies with legal requirements and company policies
- Resolve contract-related issues and disputes
- Incorporate project flow-downs into corporate templates
- Coordinate with legal, procurement, finance and project teams to gather contract information
- Serve as point of contact for contract inquiries and guidance to internal stakeholders
- Assist project teams with drafting formal notices to suppliers, subcontractors and subconsultants
- Liaise with attorneys on escalation of complex issues
- Perform additional duties as assigned

Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in a related field and 4 years of related experience (or equivalent)
- Good understanding of legal principles and commercial terms
- Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills
- Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple negotiations
- Self-starter who works independently and in a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Experience in the EPC industry is advantageous
