Overview In this role you will provide specialized legal support for our property & casualty operations, handling contracts, regulatory compliance, and governance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to mitigate risk and protect the company's interests. You will manage insurance-related litigation and licensing matters, and help shape policies aligned with business objectives. This position offers a hands-on opportunity to influence corporate legality and contract strategy in a dynamic insurance environment.
Responsibilities- Draft and review commercial contracts for accuracy and compliance
- Negotiate contract terms with vendors, partners, and clients
- Advise on corporate law matters including regulatory compliance and governance
- Manage property and casualty insurance claims and omissions litigation
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify legal risks and mitigation strategies
- Conduct legal research and provide insights on organizational legal implications
- Ensure licensing requirements are met and maintain compliance standards
- Develop and implement policies aligning legal and business objectives
- Represent the company in legal proceedings and external negotiations when needed
