Overview As Head of Network Recruiting, you will lead strategic provider sourcing to grow Oscar's payer network, focusing on non-anchor providers, ECPs, and FQHCs. You'll work with Network Contracting, Strategy, and Market Leadership to build a compliant, high-performing network that supports member growth and better access. The role blends strategic expansion with hands-on team leadership and cross-functional collaboration. Responsibilities- Architect and execute targeted network expansion strategies for non-anchor practitioners, medical groups, and ECPs/FQHCs
- Monitor regional provider density and access metrics to meet CMS and state adequacy standards
- Coordinate with Network Contracting, Network Strategy, and Market Leadership to align recruitment with regulatory and growth plans
- Track recruitment pipeline velocity and team productivity
- Use network design analytics to optimize throughput and close coverage gaps
- Build, mentor, and lead a team of network development professionals, including employees and contractors
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or related field
- 12+ years in healthcare
- 5+ years in leadership roles in provider network development, network operations, or provider recruitment
- Experience engaging with community health centers, FQHCs, and independent provider groups
- Understanding of CMS and state network adequacy and access-to-care standards
- Experience managing cross-departmental workflows (contracting, legal, operations, market leadership)
- Experience with network management platforms (e.g., Quest Analytics) and CRM tools
