Senior Manager, Brand Marketing, Hair

Overview

In this role you drive marketing plans for Sephora brand partners in the Hair category to boost sales and grow client bases. You act as the main marketing contact for around 23 brands, translating brand priorities into Sephora programs. You guide channel marketing, including messaging, sampling, social, co-op, and creative, and optimize resource use for partners. You analyze ROI and manage sampling programs while building cross-functional partnerships. You help shape Sephora's partner programs and growth in a collaborative beauty-focused culture.

Responsibilities
  • Be the primary marketing contact for 23 brands and manage the brand relationship
  • Understand brand business, priorities, and products to advise on strategy and tactics
  • Advise on channel marketing: messaging, sampling, social, co-op advertising, and creative
  • Guide for brands with limited resources on overall marketing strategy
  • Secure participation in Sephora marketing programs and partnerships
  • Analyze ROI of collaborative marketing programs and sampling investments
  • Manage Beauty Insider sampling, Play sampling, and promotional plans
  • Identify opportunities for new co-op marketing programs and build business cases
  • Serve as the go-to marketing contact for the category merchant(s)
  • Foster cross-functional, matrixed collaboration and mentor junior team members
  • Apply Sephora values in daily work and leadership
  • Organize work with a strategic, process-driven approach
Key requirements
  • 8+ years related experience in brand management/marketing in consumer-facing business, digital content publisher, or digital agency
  • Proactive problem-solving and ability to propose alternatives
  • Strong presentation skills for leadership forums
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Effective written and verbal communication
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Creative self-starter with a positive, proactive attitude
  • Proven ability to lead and build relationships in cross-functional teams
  • Passion for Sephora, its programs, clients, store associates, and marketing
  • Ability to travel as required
