Market Development Specialist

In this role you support and execute marketing and business development initiatives for firmwide practice areas and offices. You work closely with lawyers, office managers, and the marketing team to move projects from concept to delivery, often with limited oversight. You help craft client-focused materials, manage events, and maintain CRM data to enable growth. This position offers cross-office collaboration in a global firm, with a focus on strategic impact and high-quality client service.

• Assist practice groups and lawyers with marketing and client development projects
• Serve as primary contact for production of customized marketing materials
• Create and deliver proposals, qualifications, and presentations in response to opportunities
• Draft and edit marketing collateral, slide decks, letters, event invitations, and biographies
• Maintain practice group contact lists in the CRM and manage experience lists
• Prepare competitive intelligence and market research reports and develop prospect lists
• Coordinate articles, newsletters, and other marketing communications
• Plan and support events, including logistics and follow-ups
• Track business development activities in the proposal tracking system
• Support public relations and membership renewals for practices and groups
• Collaborate with the marketing team on firmwide initiatives and special projects
• Engage in outside conferences and trade associations

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Excellent written and spoken communication; ability to produce compelling proposals and materials
• Strong interpersonal skills and service orientation
• Mature, confident interaction with internal and external clients
• Proficient with Word, PowerPoint, Excel; strong internet research skills
• Knowledge of InterAction CRM (a plus)
• Good judgment, decision-making and follow-through
• Excellent project management, organizational and planning abilities
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
