Overview As a Contract Geologist you will support regional structural and sequence stratigraphic interpretation in major basins, with a primary focus in North America. You will work with seismic and well data, integrating prior studies to deliver geoscience insights within a multidisciplinary team. The role offers growth in quality control, project management, and client presentations. You contribute to strategic exploration and production workflows while adhering to safety and ethics standards. This is a chance to shape geoscience outputs within Enverus' AI-enabled energy analytics platform.
Responsibilities- Act as the geoscience subject matter expert for sequence stratigraphy, structural geology, petroleum systems, and geo modeling
- Liaise with team leads as stakeholder for integrated geological and geophysical projects
- Combine geological interpretations with Well Performance Data for analytics and productivity delineation
- Support safety, ethics policies, and compliance in daily work
- Take ownership of safety and environmental protection requirements
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Manager
Key requirements- Bachelor in Geology (or Geophysics)
- Extensive Anadarko Basin experience
- Experience with subsurface interpretation software (Kingdom)
- Familiar with GIS concepts
- Strong communication, interpersonal and time management skills
- Ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams and fast-paced environments
