Overview In this role, you lead the company's overall Quality program across projects, ensuring high standards and regulatory compliance. You will supervise audits, maintain documentation, and report on quality initiatives to senior leadership. You'll drive training, supplier and subcontractor performance reviews, and prompt issue resolution, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This position combines hands-on QC leadership with strategic oversight in a construction environment, including healthcare projects under HCAI/OSHPD guidelines.
Compensation / Benefits- base pay range $175,000-$195,000

Responsibilities- Lead and manage the overall Quality program across projects
- Conduct regular QC audits at project sites and issue audit findings
- Maintain and update quality documentation (inspection reports, NCRs, CAPs, project quality plans)
- Provide regular status reports on quality initiatives and non-conformances to senior management
- Develop and deliver training programs for field and office teams; foster continuous improvement culture
- Evaluate quality performance of suppliers and subcontractors; ensure contractual and standard compliance
- Identify and address quality issues; implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
- Stay current with construction regulations and safety codes; ensure compliance with local/state/federal requirements
- Lead, mentor and develop quality team members; promote collaboration
- Manage closeout and commissioning activities on projects
- Proficiency with quality management software and tools
- Strategic understanding of jurisdictional processes and compliance
- Experience collaborating with Special Inspectors (SI) and navigating healthcare construction requirements
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in quality management, engineering, or related field or equivalent
- Typically minimum ten years of construction experience including public works and federal projects
- Nine years in quality for major public works projects; healthcare construction experience preferred
- Current HCAI/OSHPD Class A Hospital Inspector (IOR) certification required
- Proven experience in quality management on healthcare construction projects
