Overview

Join a global leader in mission-critical electronic packaging and PCB solutions. You will contribute to design, analysis, and qualification of next-generation products for commercial, defense, and space applications, working within cross-functional teams to translate customer needs into reliable designs. You'll drive advanced concepts, perform FEA and thermal/structural analysis, and mentor others to elevate our mechanical capabilities. This role combines hands-on design with strategic risk assessment to meet stringent requirements. You'll impact product performance, manufacturability, and cost efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Contribute to mechanical design on assigned product teams from concept to qualification
  • Perform FEA and advanced analyses to evaluate design trade-offs
  • Lead and participate in design reviews with internal and external stakeholders
  • Mentor engineers, designers, and drafters on projects
  • Develop qualification plans and conduct tests to ensure requirements are met
  • Evaluate vendor capabilities and material specifications for compliance
  • Assist in establishing mechanical design standards and best practices
  • Interface with process, design, and project engineering to ensure successful designs
  • Prepare technical recommendations and engineering statements of work for projects
  • Support safety, ISO, EEO, OSHA, and compliance programs
Key requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
  • Experience with FEA (e.g., ANSYS, SolidWorks Simulation)
  • Mechanical design experience in electronics packaging
  • U.S. citizen with ability to obtain Secret clearance if required
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
