Our projects include new buildings, existing buildings alterations and renovations, shaping iconic contributions to the New York City
Skyline.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist to perform structural analysis and design for concrete, steel, masonry, timber structures using software.
Assist to evaluate retrofit and renovation designs for existing buildings.
Assist to prepare and review construction documents, calculations, and reports compliant with NYC Building Codes, IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC, and NDS.
Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and contractors to integrate structural systems
Assist to perform special inspections and local law inspections.
Assist to conduct site visits to assess existing structures, review construction progress, and resolve field issues.
Participate in project meetings and client presentations.
On Site(office) is required.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (Masters preferred).
Licensure: FE exam passed and pursuit PE licensure as early goal.
Experience: Proficient in structural design, with exposure to building design projects (high-rises, commercial, or residential).
Software Skills: Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and structural analysis software (e.g., ETABS, SAFE, RAM Structural, SAP2000).
Local Authority Approval Knowledge: Strong will to learn NYC DOB regulations and building codes.
Soft Skills: Self-motivated, proactive communication with Manager/Supervisor, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities.
