Overview In this role you will drive Defined Contribution Lifetime Income (DCLI) and other Institutional Retirement Income strategies, translating market needs into product roadmaps. You'll collaborate with risk, pricing, legal, finance, sales, and operations to define and communicate the product vision. You will lead end-to-end product implementation and coordinate launches with marketing and sales, delivering compelling retirement solutions. You'll stay ahead of market trends and competitive shifts to position Pacific Life as a retirement income leader.

Responsibilities- Define institutional lifetime income product features and documentation for cross-team alignment
- Collaborate with risk, pricing, legal, finance, sales, and operations to advance product initiatives
- Communicate goals and obtain approvals for product initiatives
- Serve as retirement product expert for stakeholders across the division
- Drive end-to-end product implementation from ideas to design and delivery
- Coordinate with marketing and sales for product launches, training, collateral, and decks
- Lead or support product training across stakeholders
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs and trends
- Monitor DCLI/retirement income landscape and develop differentiators
- Identify market needs from input from sales, relationship management, and partnerships
- Apply industry knowledge to guide development and seize opportunities
- Track product performance, gather client feedback, and report progress to senior leadership
- Collaborate with Consumer Markets Division to enable cross-collaboration and economies of scale
- Represent Pacific Life at industry events and conferences
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, economics, or similar field
- Extensive knowledge of retirement solutions and annuities in financial services, with preference for Defined Contribution experience
- 10-12 years of experience in product development/management in retirement/insurance/annuity
