Overview

In this role you will own end-to-end recruiting for Leo hardware engineering and related roles, partnering with cross-functional teams to build a capable, diverse workforce. You'll guide candidates through the interview process, set clear expectations, and ensure a positive experience that reflects Amazon's inclusion and excellence. The position supports a high-impact project aiming to put thousands of satellites in orbit and scale engineering and operations capabilities. You'll leverage AI tools to improve sourcing, screening, and data-driven decision making while maintaining candidate-centric communication.

Responsibilities
  • Own the full recruiting lifecycle for assigned requisitions: intake, sourcing strategy, candidate engagement, interview coordination, offer negotiation, close
  • Source and engage candidates through multiple channels to build diverse pipelines
  • Conduct pre-screening to assess skills, compensation expectations, and interview readiness
  • Partner with hiring managers to calibrate role requirements and recruiting strategy
  • Drive positive candidate experiences with clear communication and feedback loops
  • Manage 15-25+ active requisitions across multiple job families and levels
  • Track data integrity and report weekly on pipeline health and funnel metrics
  • Identify process improvements and escalate blockers to improve efficiency
  • Participate in recruiting events and referral initiatives to boost brand awareness
  • Leverage AI tools to streamline sourcing, screening, and analytics
Key requirements
  • 4+ years of corporate or search firm progressive recruiting with full life cycle experience
  • Experience building diverse sourcing plans and proactive research
  • Experience with an applicant tracking system for sourcing and candidate management
  • Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
