Overview In this role you will lead the development and execution of engineered-to-order solutions for industrial applications. You will act as the technical lead on complex projects, steering engineering from concept to manufacturing release. You will collaborate across functions to deliver profitable, customer-aligned solutions that meet standards and business objectives. This is an opportunity to shape high-impact engineering programs within Eaton's GEIS team and drive continuous improvement across the organization.
Responsibilities- Develop custom product solutions in response to customer inquiries and coordinate bid activities to support growth
- Lead product design, feasibility analyses, and risk assessments with emphasis on cost, manufacturability, reliability, and compliance
- Provide manufacturing support during product launch and maintain thorough engineering documentation; collaborate with customers, sales, operations, sourcing, manufacturing, and suppliers to meet requirements
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited institution
- Minimum 5 years of engineering experience interfacing with a manufacturing environment
- Experience with product design, engineering documentation, and CAD tools
