Overview In this role you lead cross-border tax initiatives to support federal and international tax reporting, with a focus on FDDEI, Pillar 2 compliance, and transfer pricing. You will elevate tax processes, drive automation, and mentor junior staff in a globally focused team. You'll liaise with foreign subsidiaries and auditors, shaping tax strategy and data for planning and reporting. This is a global, collaborative position that impacts tax provision, filings, and audits with a tangible impact on the company's tax posture.

Responsibilities- Lead FDDEI end-to-end processes including calculation, filing, documentation, and audit trail maintenance
- Design and implement Pillar 2 frameworks and coordinate GIR/QDMTTs filings across multiple jurisdictions
- Oversee transfer pricing documentation, benchmarking studies, and intercompany agreement reviews
- Serve as primary contact for foreign subsidiaries, aligning across time zones and providing training on FDDEI, Pillar 2, and transfer pricing
- Mentor junior staff and drive process improvements with automation where feasible
- Review foreign income tax provision reporting and forecasting; handle calculations for E&P, dividends, and cash distributions
- Prepare or review foreign tax forms (1118, 5471, 8621, 8865, 8858, 926, 8991, 8992, 8993) for federal return filing
- Support federal and international audits, conduct tax issue research, and defend positions
- Assist with IT initiatives and business acquisitions/dispositions related to tax
- Perform assessments of unrecognized tax positions and SARBOX documentation
- Contribute to other duties as assigned
Key requirements- Six years of tax practice experience in public accounting or large corporate tax department
- Strong technical expertise in US GAAP and ASC 740 tax accounting
- Hands-on ASC 740 and SOX controls experience
- Knowledge of international tax laws and FDDEI, Pillar 2, transfer pricing, foreign tax credits
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present to diverse audiences
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to mentor others
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
