Data Science Analyst - Growth, Marketing & Sales Practice

Overview

In this role you help clients become data-driven by expanding analytics capabilities and shaping marketing and sales strategies. You work with cross-functional teams to deliver data-powered insights that transform client outcomes. You'll lead analytical work, mentor teammates, and contribute to a knowledge base for the analytics group. This position offers high-impact, fast-paced learning in a global, diverse environment.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with clients and colleagues to develop strategies across marketing analytics platforms (CRM, pricing, promotions, MROI, marketing mix)
  • Expand analytics capabilities and architect new data-driven strategies and applications
  • Lead deep analytics on client data to drive business insights and decisions
  • Guide knowledge development for the firm's analytics group and share methodologies
  • Support data extraction, assembly, and transfer of broad datasets for analysis
  • Contribute to cross-functional problem solving and generate actionable recommendations
Key requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in computer science, machine learning, statistics, mathematics, engineering, AI, or related field
  • Strong academic background in database management and mathematics (linear algebra, calculus)
  • Experience with statistical data analysis and data mining packages (R, SAS, SPSS, Alteryx, MatLab, STATA, Excel)
  • Knowledge of data management tools including SQL/RDBMS, NoSQL (MongoDB), Hadoop or similar big data tech
  • Programming skills in Python, R, and/or Java
  • Experience connecting multiple data platforms (social media, open data) and data visualization tools (Tableau)
  • Strong problem-solving, quantitative skills, and ability to identify root causes
  • Ability to own database development and meet deadlines autonomously
  • Excellent time management and ability to work in a largely autonomous environment
  • Willingness to travel up to 80% and work in diverse environments
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and local office languages
