Overview The Hubbell Rotation Program (HRP) is a three-year, multi-discipline finance/ accounting track for new graduates. You rotate across core finance functions to develop business and financial acumen while contributing to planning, controls, accounting, and stakeholder communications. The program emphasizes mentorship, cross-functional exposure, and a leadership pipeline within Hubbell. You will tackle forecasting, control improvements, and strategic analysis at scale, shaping how Hubbell informs decision-making.
Responsibilities- Drive long-term and strategic financial planning
- Support forecasting and annual operating plan
- Perform monthly variance analysis and assist financial reporting
- Prepare monthly result presentations for stakeholders
- Support monthly/quarterly closing activities (journal entries, accruals, reconciliations)
- Ensure adherence to policies, internal controls, and GAAP
- Identify and drive control improvements
- Prepare earnings/board presentations and market analysis
- Support accounting services: cash collection, payments, invoicing
- Analyze manufacturing and cost accounting metrics; liaise with Operations
- Assist with M&A activities and due diligence; financial modeling
- Monitor industry trends and communicate strategic implications
Key requirements- Bachelor in Finance or Accounting (preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical abilities
- Versatility and ability to manage evolving priorities
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and leadership
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, SharePoint
