Overview As Mid-Market Account Manager at Rippling, you own a book of business and act as the primary relationship owner to maximize adoption, retention, and revenue across Rippling's back-office HR, IT, and Finance solutions. You guide customers through go-live and renewal cycles, lead strategic conversations with stakeholders, and coordinate contracts and procurement. You develop and manage a pipeline for cross-sell, upgrades, and renewals while collaborating with product, support, and operations to ensure long-term success. Responsibilities- Proactively engage customers through lifecycle events (go live, renewals, executive business reviews)
- Consult with clients to understand HR, IT, and finance needs using a solutions-based approach
- Navigate strategic sales with multiple stakeholders via remote and in-person meetings
- Negotiate and coordinate procurement and contract execution
- Build and manage a pipeline of cross-sells, upgrades, and contract renewals to hit monthly targets
- Demonstrate product knowledge and drive customer adoption using playbooks
- Partner with product, support, and operations teams to secure long-term commitments and influence roadmap
- Take an entrepreneurial, customer-focused approach to maximize product adoption
Key requirements- 3+ years of SaaS account management, sales, or quota-carrying customer success
- Track record of meeting/exceeding quota via new product sales and upgrades
- Demonstrated consultative discovery and structured sales process
- Proven ability to build and maintain long-term commercial relationships
