Senior Technical Claim Manager-Miscellaneous Professional Liability/Errors & Omissions (E&O) (hybrid)

In this role you will manage professional liability claims (MPL/E&O) to achieve fair, expeditious outcomes. You will work within our claims team to assess coverage, investigate thoroughly, and resolve disputes while pursuing risk transfer opportunities. You'll represent RLI in mediations, settlements, and trials as needed, contributing to our best-practices approach. • Proactively handle MPL/E&O claims to optimize payout and resolution
• Assess and analyze coverage issues; issue coverage letters and documentation
• Complete timely investigation and set appropriate reserves
• Pursue risk transfer opportunities including indemnity and additional insured issues
• Handle claims in accordance with RLI's Best Practices
• Resolve claims timely to effective outcomes; travel to mediations/trials as warranted

• Bachelor in Business Administration or related field; 5+ years of experience handling claims or as an attorney with litigation experience
• JD preferred
• Meaningful experience in professional liability claims with knowledge of case law, statutes, and procedures affecting claim value
