Overview

Join Schaeffler Transmission Systems, LLC as a plant finance professional responsible for analyzing plant performance, driving cost optimization, and ensuring regulatory compliance. You will partner with plant management and cross-functional teams to translate financial data into actionable insights. You will lead budgeting and forecasting processes, monitor budgets, and report on variances to support strategic decision-making. This role offers the opportunity to shape plant efficiency and financial discipline in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze plant financial performance and develop measures for cost optimization
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
  • Prepare plant budgeting/planning processes and monitor progress against budgets
  • Analyze financial deviations at the plant level and identify trends
  • Develop and implement cost control measures to improve plant efficiency
  • Prepare detailed financial reports and forecasts for plant management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic decision-making in plants
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to improve operational plant performance
  • Assist in the preparation and management of budgets and financial plans for the plant
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in Controlling, Finance, Accounting, Cost Accounting, or a related field, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, cost controlling, financial analysis, and variance analysis
  • Advanced in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with Plant Management and cross-functional teams
  • Strong business acumen, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
