Overview

As a Senior Associate, Relationship Manager in the Corporate Responsibility - Community Engagement team, you will manage influential third-party stakeholders to advance policy, business, and community priorities. You will work cross-functionally to shape dialogue, deploy grants, and host events that align with the firm's strategic priorities. Your role supports building an inclusive economy and a stronger financial system by connecting external perspectives with internal partners. This is a high-impact, relationship-driven position at a global financial leader that values collaboration, integrity, and thoughtful engagement.

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain a portfolio of influential external relationships across Southern CA and/or the assigned region
  • Collaborate with Global Philanthropy, Government Relations, Communications, and lines of business to design strategies
  • Partner with Government Relations and Policy Communications to advance policy priorities
  • Represent the firm at external events and convenings
  • Activate thought leadership through stakeholder-hosted events and sponsorships
  • Design, organize, and host forums that facilitate dialogue between senior executives and partners
  • Manage an annual grant portfolio aligned with strategic focus areas
  • Conduct analyses to inform strategy and investment decisions and align with annual business planning
Key requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in stakeholder management, government relations, grantmaking, or consumer/housing policy, preferably in financial services
  • Thought leadership and subject matter expertise on issues affecting the firm
  • Exceptional negotiation, written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking
  • Ability to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders and consider multiple viewpoints
  • High integrity, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
  • Creative, flexible, collaborative, results-oriented, able to work independently or in a team
  • Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Proven multi-tasking ability in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Office tools (PowerPoint, Teams, Excel) and willingness to travel domestically
