Overview In this role you drive resolution of manufacturing nonconformances to protect airworthiness and design integrity. You will work across design, manufacturing, QA, and regulators to disposition issues and minimize production disruption. You'll develop repair procedures, support root-cause analysis, and provide technical guidance to internal and external partners. This position blends engineering judgment with cross-functional collaboration to keep complex electric aircraft programs on track. Responsibilities- Analyze nonconformances in metallic and composite structures, systems installations, motors, batteries, and mechanical assemblies on the production line
- Review Nonconformance Reports and engineering documentation to determine disposition
- Collaborate with Design, Stress, M&P, EMI and other departments for elevated deviations
- Develop and validate standard repair procedures
- Represent MRB Engineering in Material Review Boards and ensure timely resolution of nonconformances
- Provide technical consultation and drawing interpretation to manufacturing and suppliers
- Support root cause analysis and corrective action processes (RCCA, 8D) with Quality and Production teams
Key requirements- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Materials Engineering
- 5+ years of related professional experience
- Aerospace MRB experience
- Strong understanding of Aircraft structures and systems, design tolerances, composite and metallic repair principles
- Proficiency with 3D CAD Software (Catia/Enovia preferred)
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
