Overview In this role you contribute to MITIMCo's Global Investment Staff by sourcing and screening opportunities, performing due diligence, and weighing risk and reward to support long-term capital allocation. You will build and maintain relationships with external managers and collaborate with Operations, Legal, and Data teams to align terms and sizing with risk frameworks. You travel to meet managers and observe execution firsthand, contributing to investment memos and internal committee discussions. This role offers broad exposure across asset classes and a flat, mentorship-led, collaborative culture that values analytical rigor and ownership.
Responsibilities- Source and screen investment opportunities for MIT's endowment and capital pools
- Lead or co-lead due diligence processes and write investment memos
- Assess risk/reward profiles and quantify investment theses
- Maintain and deepen relationships with external managersGlobally
- Collaborate with Operations, Legal, and Data teams on terms, risk, and sizing
- Travel to manager meetings and attend annual general meetings to evaluate execution firsthand
- Contribute research and participate in internal investment committee discussions
- You may lead initiatives and mentor others within a team-oriented, flat-structure culture
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
