Overview In this role you will steer Brown & Brown's investor relations, shaping the external financial narrative and value creation story. You will partner with the CFO and senior leadership to communicate strategy, financial outlook, and long term priorities to investors and analysts. You will lead earnings processes, ensure clear messaging, and prepare executives for key investor interactions. This is a strategic, cross functional role focused on reducing information gaps and supporting a strong capital framework.

Responsibilities- Develop and communicate the investor relations strategy and equity narrative with executive leadership
- Lead quarterly earnings process including releases, investor decks, scripts, and post-earnings summaries
- Maintain understanding of financial performance, operating model, growth, margins, capital allocation, and M&A strategy
- Build and maintain financial models, benchmarking tools, and market intelligence dashboards
- Engage with sell-side analysts and monitor consensus, trends, and investor sentiment
- Support investor targeting, outreach, roadshows, and investor meetings with CEO/CFO and senior leaders
- Plan and execute large-scale investor engagement events
- Support debt and equity capital markets transactions and shareholder communications with cross functional partners
- Prepare leadership for investor, analyst, Board, and rating agency interactions with briefing materials
- Ensure consistent external messaging across corporate accounting, treasury, legal, communications, and business leadership
- Contribute to public disclosures such as investor presentations, annual reports, proxy statements, and press releases
- Translate complex financial information into clear investor communications

Key requirements- 15+ years of relevant experience in investor relations, corporate finance, FP&A, equity research, investment banking, or capital markets
- Public company IR experience with earnings communications, annual reports, proxy statements, SEC reporting, and investor engagement
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and benchmarking skills; ability to translate analysis into executive communications
- Experience preparing executive-level presentations, financial narratives, and investor-facing materials
- High discretion and ability to manage confidential information
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with AI tools
- MBA, CPA, CFA, or other advanced credential (preferred)
- Experience with earnings process management, analyst consensus tracking, shareholder targeting, or Board updates (preferred)
- Experience using Bloomberg, FactSet, Capital IQ, or similar tools (preferred)
- Exposure to SEC reporting, disclosure controls, corporate governance, or capital markets transactions (preferred)
