Overview As a BAS Engineer, you will design, configure and optimize BMS/BAS/SCADA for mission-critical data centers, ensuring reliable 24/7 operations. You'll partner with clients to develop automation solutions for critical infrastructure like generators and UPS systems. You will build automation apps using SQL and VB, and integrate with field devices and control systems. You'll diagnose and troubleshoot communications and performance across complex environments, helping scale and improve high-availability facilities. This role offers hands-on impact in a growing, technical automation team.

Responsibilities- Design, configure, and optimize BMS/BAS/SCADA systems including sequences of operation, alarms, and dashboards (ICONICS)
- Partner with clients to develop automation solutions for generators, UPS, and power distribution equipment
- Build and maintain automation applications using SQL and VB-based tools, ensuring integration with field devices and control systems
- Integrate and troubleshoot communication protocols (TCP/IP, Modbus, BACnet, OPC, SNMP) while supporting testing, commissioning, and performance optimization
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related field
- Experience with BAS/BMS/SCADA in building automation or data center environments
- Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical infrastructure including power distribution, UPS, cooling
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex automation systems, networking issues, and field devices in high-availability environments
- Familiarity with TCP/IP, RS485, Modbus, SNMP, OPC, and BACnet for system integration
