Overview

In this role you will steer design and construction of healthcare, higher education, and institutional projects from planning through occupancy. You'll work closely with clients, lead cross-functional design and construction teams, and manage scope, schedule, and budget to deliver impactful facilities. The position offers exposure to diverse projects across healthcare and education, with opportunities to shape communities. You will drive collaboration, risk management, and timely issues resolution to ensure successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple healthcare, higher education, or commercial projects as Owner's Representative with focus on scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Communicate daily with client and project team to maintain alignment and transparency.
  • Lead the Design Team (Architects, Engineers, Equipment Planner, consultants) and the Construction Team on behalf of the owner.
  • Prepare and distribute meeting notes; develop, track, forecast, and adjust project schedule and budget across all phases.
  • Oversee contracts, invoices, and payments to contractors, consultants, and equipment vendors; review change orders.
  • Prepare Monthly Reports to Owner; assist in plan reviews and inspections with Authorities Having Jurisdiction.
  • Assist in contract negotiation and coordinate move/occupancy activities; resolve disputes and claims as needed.
Key requirements
  • Project Management experience in buildings sector (design and construction) for healthcare, commercial, and higher education.
  • Professional interaction with internal/external clients and field staff; strong communication.
  • Strong computer skills in scheduling, word processing, presentations, and spreadsheets.
  • Budget management experience and familiarity with reading plans and specifications.
  • Understanding of design/construction processes; strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
  • Valid driver's license with good driving record.
