Overview As a Senior Project Manager at Monteith Construction, you lead multiple construction projects from planning through execution, ensuring schedule, budget, and quality targets are met. You serve as the project representative on the Owner-Architect-Builder team and build lasting partner relationships. You drive design issue resolutions, financial risk management, and procurement, while coordinating with field teams to deliver on time and within budget. Responsibilities- Plan, direct and coordinate multiple construction projects and oversee organization, scheduling, and implementation
- Maintain daily communication with Project Superintendents to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and high quality
- Represent Monteith on the Owner-Architect-Builder team and nurture relationships with project stakeholders
- Lead regular status and budget meetings with Owner and Architect and resolve design or code issues
- Oversee quality control measures throughout the project lifecycle
- Manage project budget and cost, including change orders and profitability analysis
- Review drawings and specifications for design deficiencies and code issues; coordinate resolution with Architect
- Review and approve subcontractor billings and project submittals to mitigate risk and ensure proper installation
- Manage project documents in Procore and ensure accurate record-keeping
- Coordinate subcontractor labor and material deliveries; monitor schedule for on-time delivery
- With Superintendent, co-lead project meetings to ensure accurate and timely delivery
- Buyout trade contracts to minimize cost and ensure accurate scope
Key requirements- 12-15 years of construction project management experience
- Relevant experience or a degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Ability to read and understand construction schedules; Primavera P6 experience preferred
- LEED AP or LEED training encouraged
- Ability to work non-traditional hours and travel (NC/SC)
