Overview In this Senior Accountant role you will serve as an accounting business partner to support the shared service center and oversee the month-end close for assigned areas. You will drive accurate financial reporting and assist in internal and external statements, while enhancing processes and system utilization. You will partner with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve discrepancies, support audits, and contribute to planning and reporting cycles. Responsibilities- Manage and execute general ledger processes for corporate accounting and shared service center, including month-end close
- Become a super user of financial reporting and planning tools and related systems, providing training and process improvements
- Review accounting data to identify inaccuracies and imbalances
- Maintain and improve process documentation and identify efficiency opportunities
- Support quarterly reviews and annual audits
- Support Financial Planning and Analysis for quarterly reporting and ad hoc requests
- Manage domestic expense reporting using third-party software
- Leverage IT systems to enhance close and reporting, and assist with implementations
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses as requested by management
