Overview As an Insolvency & Restructuring Associate in our NYC Midtown hybrid setting, you will support high-stakes Chapter 11 matters and out-of-court restructurings for a global law firm. You will collaborate with partners and attorneys across the firm on representing debtors, committees, creditors, and other constituents, including cross-border matters. You'll contribute to research, drafting, and strategic problem-solving in a fast-paced, team-driven environment. This role offers exposure to sophisticated restructuring work and a clear path to impact within a respected AmLaw 200 practice.

Responsibilities- Represent debtors, committees, creditors, asset purchasers, and others in Chapter 11 and restructuring matters
- Handle cross-border restructuring matters and out-of-court workouts
- Assist with deposition and trial preparation (plus)
- Collaborate with a high-performing, collaborative team across the firm
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain strong research, analytical, and writing skills for complex matters
Key requirements- 2-4 years of restructuring experience
- Experience representing debtors, ad hoc and statutory committees, secured creditors, asset purchasers, and other constituents
- Chapter 11 and cross-border restructuring experience
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Admission to the New York Bar, in good standing
- Top 50 law school attendee and employment at an AmLaw 200 law firm
- Strong academic and professional record, excellent interpersonal and communication skills
