Overview As Avionics Production Lead, you will drive the end-to-end execution of avionics PCBA rework and SMT line in Terran R. You'll own production metrics, safety culture, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure timely, high-quality builds. You'll shape workstations and processes, enabling rapid iteration with aerospace teams. This role offers ownership and impact in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities- Directly manage avionics PCBA rework technician team and the SMT line
- Support technician training, certification, and development
- Drive daily production execution, quality assurance, and schedule adherence
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Production Control, and Logistics for material readiness and issue resolution
- Identify and implement tools, floor layouts, and capital equipment to improve build efficiency and ergonomics
- Establish and track production metrics (throughput, cycle time, first-pass yield)
- Foster safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years in a production leadership role in aerospace, electronics, or high-reliability manufacturing
- Direct experience managing or supporting teams building/reworking PCBAs and electro-mechanical assemblies
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with execution focus
- Proven ability to collaborate across departments in a fast-paced environment
- Strong computer and analytical skills including spreadsheets, databases, and shop floor management software (ERP/MRP/MES) or related dashboards
