Overview

In this role you will collaborate with the clinical development team to design and execute studies, supporting the advancement of nutraceutical/pharmaceutical products. You will help assess protocol adherence, manage data quality, and contribute to scientific communications and publications. The position involves ingredient research, experimental design, and preparing materials for patents or journals, with opportunities to present at conferences. You will interact across R&D and commercial teams to enable project objectives and business impact.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with clinical development and project leaders to design and execute studies
  • Plan and manage multiple activities of clinical trials with appropriate guidance
  • Prepare and ship trial site documentation and communicate with sites
  • Assess protocol compliance with investigators or contract facilities
  • Verify study data for integrity using data management tools and monitoring processes
  • Facilitate site recruitment, training, initiation, in-life and close-out activities
  • Collaborate across R&D and commercial teams for project needs
  • Research novel ingredients for product innovation
  • Perform statistical analysis and produce tables/graphics for study reports
  • Prepare scientific publications as needed
  • Attend scientific conferences related to project needs
  • Travel up to 10%
  • Perform other duties as required in meeting objectives
  • Communicate effectively with other departments in a team environment
Key requirements
  • Strong strategic thinking with ability to translate technical insights into actionable plans
  • Experience in a clinical study related role
  • Strong scientific writing ability
  • Understanding of GCP Good Clinical Practice guidelines
  • Self-motivated and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
