Responsibilities- Architect robotic foundation models and design large-scale robot learning architectures for industrial manipulation and autonomous planning
- Develop full-stack training pipelines for robotics applications with multimodal inputs and reproducibility
- Advance data collection strategies to support model training and validation
- Bridge the sim-to-real gap for embodied AI using simulation frameworks
- Create scalable inference loops combining perception with real-time motion control and on-robot deployment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to transition prototypes into robust deployable systems
- Present results and ideas to internal/external partners and at conferences
Key requirements- Ph.D. or MSc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics (or similar)
- Proven track record in top robotics/AI venues (IROS, ICRA, RSS, CoRL)
- Professional-level fluency in C++ and Python
- Experience building and deploying ML models on robotic systems (training, evaluation, integration)
- Deep knowledge of modern model architectures (Transformers, VLAs/VLMs, Diffusion Models) with large-scale training experience
- Hands-on experience deploying ML models on physical robotic platforms
- Solid understanding of embedded systems, hardware/software integration, and OS fundamentals
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal)
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
